People from various walks of life participated in the ‘Save nationalised insurance industry' signature campaign that commenced at Palayamkottai on Wednesday.
After Mayor A.L. Subramanian formally launched the campaign in front of LIC Divisional Office at Palayamkottai, public and the political personalities including Tirunelveli city district secretary of Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam K.M.A. Nizam put their signature on the banner.
Senior Divisional Manager, LIC, Tirunelveli Division, M.K. Karuppiah and others participated in the campaign.
